Welcome to Decor Stud

"Decor" means for me someting beautiful and fantastic and the modelhorses are sculptures full with it.

My first encounter to this hobby was in 2001 and it was a match made in heaven. I have met so many wonderful people all over the world, sadly most of them I have only met online but I had the luck met some when I was at Breyerfest (USA) in 2010. This hobby combine my love for horses and painting. Since Im into so called pedigree assignment (since that was one of my interests before the modelhorses) I also love to make pedigrees for my models and almost all of them has one.

So in short, this page is my "Sire & Dam - list" for my models but many pedigrees here havent found "their" model yet and are therefore only "BSO"/"DOs" (=Breeding Stock Only/Details Only). To in a easy way see what breeds I have do check out the Sire & Dam link.

Horsecolors

Ive made a little page that show the basic genes for horse colors (or basic...not sure if it is basic or gigantic). I have put genotypes to all my models to the best of my abilities. This also goes for my donkeys (but horse and donkey colors are not 100% the same so the donkeys have their colors on their page). Ive done my best to make sure it is correct and I have also included in the way how I sometimes RNG the color of my foals that I breed. You find my Horse Genetic page HERE.

IDs for sale

In the Google document (see link in the meny) you will find horses (IDs only!) that are 'for sale' (they are free). Please mail me if you want to give a horse a new home! You will receive these as google doc link! (this is so you can decide what format you want to download as - as well as have a online copy if needed) To send your request go to the Contact page for info. The Google doc will open in a new window/tab.
