Namingrules and colors in some warmbloodbreeds

Some info about the warmbloodbreeds I have on my pages. Im try as much as I can to follow the namingrules if there is any just as I try and follow the gentics. If your breeding request is denied this might have something to do with it.

American Warmblood

Naming Restrictions: No more than 18 characters, with colts taking their sire's first initial.
Colours: Literally any colour or pattern.

Holsteiner

Naming Restrictions: Names may not exceed 18 characters, or duplicate a name that has already been used by a registered Holsteiner (excepting full male siblings, which can share names followed by applicable roman numerals: "Calypso I", "Calypso II", etc). Use of the sire's name as part of the foal's name is discouraged. Colts take the same first initial as their sire. Fillies are named on a year-based schedule: 1983 V, 84 W, 85 Z, 86 A, 87 B, 88 C, 89 D, 90 E, 91 F, 92 G, 93 H, 94 I or J, 95 K, 96 L, 97 M, 98 N, 99 O, 2000 P, 01 R, 02 S, 03 T, 04 U, 05 V. Names are short, usually one or two words. Stable initials are used very rarely, and then only after the horse's name.
Colours: Traditionally grey, bay, or black with minimal markings. Nowadays, some chestnuts and/or sabinos can also be found (ap-spotting and more than two white areas "larger than a dinner plate" are not allowed). Silver dapple is very rare, but present in the modern genepool.

Hannoverian

Naming Restrictions: Foals take the same first initial as their sire. Names are short, usually one or two words. Stable initials are used very rarely, and then only after the horse's name.
Colours: Chestnut, bay, black, grey. Sabino is common, but a horse may not be registered if they have any white spots on their body "larger than a dinner plate".

Oldenburger

Naming Restrictions: Foals take the same first initial as their sire. Names are short, usually one or two words. Stable initials are used very rarely, and then only after the horse's name.
Colours: Chestnut, bay, black, grey, rarely cream dilute (palomino, buckskin); with or without sabino and/or tobiano

Trakehner

Naming Restrictions: Names must not be longer than 16 characters, and follow a year-based schedule: 1985 D, 86 E, 87 F, 88 G, 89 H, 90 I, 91 J, 92 K, 93 L, 94 M, 95 N, 96 O, 97 P, 98 R, 99 S, 2000 T, 01 U, 02 V, 03 W, 04 Z, 05 A
Colours: Bay, black, chestnut, grey, & rarely silver dapple. Can also be sabino or tobiano.

Dutch Warmblood (KWPN)

Naming Restrictions: Foals take the same first initial as their sire. Names are short, usually one or two words. Stable initials are used very rarely, and then only after the horse's name.
Colours: Chestnut, bay, black, grey, rarely cream dilute (palomino, buckskin); with or without sabino and/or tobiano

Swedish Warmblood

Naming Restrictions: Names are usually fairly short & often start with the same letter as one of the parents' names, but it's not required.
Colours: Bay, black, chestnut, grey, palomino, buckskin. Can also be sabino, rarely, tobiano, and very rarely appaloosa-spotted*

*The stallion Tigrillo 355 is the "founder" of this color - sadly there is no picture of him and as far as I know he dont have many spotted decendants (he only got one offspring in the studbook before he got shot by accident) - but Ive got a "ok" from the real swedish warmblood society that a spotted offspring IF it had approved SWB bloodlines it could get approved today - spots or no spots. In Tigrillos pedigree you find close up one of the founding stallions among the knabstrup breed (Khediven) as well as the spotted ones in the gotland pony breed.
