NOTE

Once there was some spotted SWBs, but they were rare and just like Khara most decend from the stallion Khediven. This stallion was used in both the swedish warmblood - as well as the gotlandsruss breeding. You will find him in Khara's sire dams side of the pedigree, following the mare backwards.

There is one noted spotted stallion in the studbooks named Tigrillo, but he was only active a few years and only left one mare that got into the studbooks herself. I have however been in contact with ASVH (the swb breeding association in Sweden) and got the reply that if a spotted swb was bred today with 'proper papers' it would be approved.

You can find a picture of Tigrillo's dam here (in swedish). Most seem to have been varnish spotted and therefor many times mis-registered as greys. There is also a more 'recent' born that can be found here. Her damline is however very short and ends in unknown lines. "Tigrerad" means spotted.
