Game Points - and how to get them

Drabardi Points

Drabardi Points is shortened to DP. DP are awarded to you as a player (ie it counts PER player, not per donkey) for contributing/participating in a Drabardi group contest. You may also reccive DP when finishing certain goals or events. There might also be more in store for this type of points in the future.

Lifepoints

Lifepoints is shortened to LP. These points the donkey get through roleplays (both art and literature) and can be given to signify the donkey skill in different things. Both wild donkeys on the island and HARPG donkeys use the same pointssheet (see below) even if things are devided/counted towards things a little differently depending on what "division" the donkey belong to. If the donkey is good enough, some of its skill can partly be inherited by its offspring.

Showpoints

HOLD UP! Hold up a minute! You said there was just two types! Thats right, there are only two types (the above) and only one that give the donkey skillpoints (in case you forgot - its the lifepoints that give the skills, yo). The showpoints (SP) are not to be confused with the other types. They are separate from these and are ONLY counted per entery in the group competitions for the HARPG donkeys. This is to make it - hopefully - as fair as possible when it come to judging. Here you can see how these showpoints are calculated.

Starter/custom

If your Donkey is a semi-custom each stat will be randomly rolled between 0-10 using Random.org. This goes for all of the starter/custom donkeys physical stats (Speed, Strength, Endurance). You will get another 10LP (total) to devide between any of the other stats (except experience) however you like, as long as no one trait exceeds 10.

In-game born

Parent skill levels The 'better' the parents ie higher stats, the better the starting skills of your baby donkey will get! So choose them wisely - especially in the HARPG. To get the points of both jack and jenny (ie the parents) count the average of both of them.

For example:

Jack: 85LP in Speed = Tier V/Prime - he will give +12 LP towards the foals skill
Jenny: 48LP in Speed = Tier III/Notable - she will give +6 LP towards the foals skills

12 + 6 = 18/2 (because it's 2 donkey's) = 9 => Foal get 9 LP (Tier I/Minor) in Speed

These calculations is done for every physical skill. If your HARPG Donkey have the "Jack/Jenny of All Trade" blessing you will be able to add some more points for your baby longear.

Jack/Jenny of All Trades

= Parent animal having 100 LP in Dressage, Gaits, and Jumping.

Allows any of its future offspring to additional +20 bonus LP (total) to divide on the offspring in a "physical skill" (Speed, Strength, Endurance) or a "performance skill" (ie Dressage, Gaits, Jumping). When you send in a pair for breeding you need to list their levels and then link the breeding on the donkeys journal under the appropriate section.

Gaining LP

To gain LP all your Drabardi (or you) has to do is be in art or in literature (as in actively featured, not just mentioned once). Look for tips here: What can I do with my Drabardi?
The LP points you earn should NOT be combined with the base points that a donkey is born/starts with! The earned LP are noted after the base points within brackets.

For example

Speed: 5 (+10)

Giftart

You can do giftart if you like. Giftart is not the same as a collaboration. The art or text is done/written by you alone and for a donkey not owned by you. Combinations of text and image is of course alright (you kind person you). LP is given just as normal to the depicted donkey/s. There is no minimum or maximum of donkeys you can include in your text/picture.

The amount below may seem a bit low and cheap but Im trying to figure out a way to create a world where the build of a character no matter if its from the donkeys pov on the island or if its played in the HARPG world are more important than selling breeding slots or getting "the latest" in traits or colors/markings.

To gain LP all your Drabardi has to do is be in art (actively featured) or an literature piece (RP) (each donkey need to be mentioned about seven times in some way). Aim for quality not quantity!
