Zebardi

Range

This marking resembles the stripes of a Grevy's zebra, but they are restricted to the face and legs. The stripes must always begin at the top of the leg and continue all the way down to the coronet. On the face the stripes will only show on the forehead down to the muzzle that is always dark. If the donkey have white points those lay under the Zebardi marking.

Zebardi will cancel out any regular leg striping associated with the dun gene (however the dorsal and shoulder stripes will remain unaffected). There is no visual difference between normal/dominant genes. Range shown in BLUE.

Nila Bay dun with zebardi (100% opacity).

What type of edges on this marking

The stripes must always have hard edges.

Do-Not's

  • - White points over the Zabardi marking

The group is flexible when it comes to the looks of the markings (since nature doesn't always follow the rules and goes by *strict* lines), so as long as your markings are similar to the examples you shouldn't have any issues. As long as the marking is still visually identifiable everything is good in the hood.
NOTE - if too many people abuse this, rules will become stricter.
