Flaxen

Only affects red-based coats. On a flaxen Drabardi the mane and tail is noticeably lighter than the body coat color, as it often has a more golden blonde shade. Sometimes it can be confused with palomino or taffy.

A flaxen red Drabardi should have a more reddish tint in its mane/tail, compared to (for example) a golden palomino or greyish taffy. The donkey above is shown without a drabardi hue and the dun dilution, but with points.
